The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
