Celebration Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
“I’m already thinking about the next championship we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at the stadium, where the players emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ providing music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.
